Playing on Pokerstars can be free, as they offer play money games where no real money is involved. However, if you want to play for real money, you will need to make a deposit and buy chips to play in cash games or tournaments. Additionally, there are also freeroll tournaments where you can win real money without having to make a deposit. Overall, while there are free options available on Pokerstars, playing for real money does require an investment. **

The PokerStars Casino may not be working due to technical issues such as server maintenance, software updates, or unexpected outages. It is also possible that there may be regional restrictions or legal issues that prevent access to the casino in certain locations. Additionally, individual user issues such as internet connectivity problems or device compatibility issues could also be a factor. It is recommended to check the PokerStars website or contact their customer support for more information on the specific reason for the casino not working. **

Yes, there have been instances of cheating in tournaments at PokerStars. In 2015, there was a scandal involving a player using multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage in high-stakes tournaments. This led to the discovery of a collusion ring involving several players. PokerStars took swift action to address the issue, refunding affected players and banning those involved in the cheating. While PokerStars has implemented strict security measures to prevent cheating, it is important for players to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. **

Online poker, including platforms like Pokerstars, can be quite realistic in terms of gameplay and the overall experience. The software is designed to mimic the feel of a live poker game, with features like customizable avatars, chat options, and various game types and stakes. Additionally, the use of random number generators ensures fair and unpredictable card distribution. However, it's important to note that the lack of physical interaction and the potential for cheating or collusion can detract from the realism of the online poker experience. Overall, while online poker can provide a realistic and enjoyable gaming experience, it may not fully replicate the atmosphere and dynamics of a live poker game. **
